Story
Most mugs leave the stirring to you. This one stirs itself, steadily, at forty turns a minute, and always counterclockwise.
Why one direction
Early prototypes stirred both ways. Testers spent the first minute of every coffee choosing. The production mug removes the choice, and with it the selector switch, a spring and two failure modes.
How it works
A sealed drive in the base turns a magnetic coupling under the floor of the mug. The stirring vane sits on top of it and can be lifted out for washing. There is nothing to set up: fill the mug and it begins.
Timeline
Tooling for the stoneware body is complete. The drive has passed 2,000 hours of continuous stirring without a change of direction.

Porcelain white is unlocked
Passing €24,000 unlocked a third colour. Porcelain white is now available on the One mug and Two mugs Rewards; you can switch an existing Pledge to it until the Campaign ends.
The next stretch goal is a matching teaspoon. It does not stir. It is for ceremonial use.

No. It is counterclockwise everywhere, as intended.

Does it stir tea as well, or only coffee?
It stirs any liquid at the same rate. Soup is not recommended.
