Motorised Sticky Note Stand

A sticky note on the edge of a monitor sits at the wrong height for most of the day. The Motorised Sticky Note Stand corrects this continuously, for one note at a time.

Follows your posture

A time-of-flight sensor in the base measures the distance to your eyes and adjusts height, tilt and swivel to keep the note at eye level, sitting or standing. The range is 340 mm of height, 40 degrees of tilt and a full 180 degrees of swivel, which covers every desk the Inventor tested it on.

Four presets

The stand remembers four positions: sitting, standing, close read and away. A short press on the base cycles between them. A long press saves the current position to the active preset.

Rated for more than a note

The plate is rated to 2 kg, which the Inventor calculates at roughly 4,000 sticky notes. The plate accepts one. He considers the margin appropriate for a device that will be bumped.

Nothing to manage

A cable management channel runs the length of the arm. The stand is powered over USB-C and has no other cable, so the channel is currently empty. The Inventor left it in for the day that changes.
