Story
Keyboards have grown to more than a hundred keys, and most of them are pressed rarely, if ever. The One-Key Keyboard keeps the one that matters.
One key
The key is Enter. It confirms dialogs, submits forms, starts new lines and accepts the terms and conditions. For everything else there is the keyboard you already own.
Built to last
With every press landing on the same switch, durability was the main engineering problem. The switch is rated for 80 million presses, which at a normal pace is roughly one working lifetime of agreeing to things.
Where we are
Production samples have passed drop, cable-pull and spill testing. The goal is close. If it is reached before the deadline, manufacturing begins the following week.

Updates
The final days
We are at 92% with two and a half days to go. If you have been meaning to back the One-Key Keyboard, this is the moment. If you already have, a second keyboard makes a considerate gift.
Switch testing is complete
Both switches passed 80 million presses on the test rig. The tactile switch has a small bump at the actuation point. The linear one does not. Both press Enter.
The Early Bird is gone
All forty Early Bird keyboards were claimed in the first morning. The regular Reward is the same keyboard with the same key, and a choice of switch.

So close. Telling everyone in the office.
Went back for a second keyboard. Come on, 8,000.
Thank you. We are nearly there.
