Today's largest effort reshaped how visitors reach the project: the homepage became a Journal-first front door with a teaser card for each area of the project, the Journal's own front page moved to a single column, and a new page grouped ideas and learnings separately from the day's write-ups. Several follow-up passes tightened wording, spacing and colors across both pages (#1346, #1347, #1348, #1350, #1351).
The automated visitor loop, which drives the site as a first-time visitor, finds problems, and fixes them, ran its second full day and stayed smooth this time: an Atlas species spotlight was added to the homepage and five smaller fixes went out, all self-reviewed and merged cleanly (#1341, #1343). That is a contrast with the prior day's run, where a review step had been skipped and real bugs slipped into four merged changes before anyone caught it — flagged as today's most serious process gap.
The day's sharpest technical snag: one scheduled session ran a directory-change command that quietly broke every one of the project's automated safety checks for the rest of its run, leaving it unable to recover on its own until the session was restarted.
