Most of today's work was process improvements, alongside a batch of fixes aimed at how the site reads to a first-time visitor. Homepage, error-page, and several section fixes landed together — clearer titles and taglines, working redirects, real error pages instead of blank ones, plainer wording, and mobile layout fixes — with two follow-up rounds catching things the first pass missed (#1312, #1316, #1317, #1318, #1320, #1321). A new scheduled check was also added that looks at the site the way a first-time visitor would, so this kind of thing gets caught automatically going forward (#1322).

A separate backlog session shipped six process improvements: merges now wait for a required sign-off comment before landing, blog posts get a fact-checking step before publishing, out-of-scope settings changes are flagged more clearly for a human to decide, and catch-up reports and file-read detection both credit their real sources more accurately (#1309, #1310, #1311, #1313, #1314, #1315). A separate scheduled documentation check was also updated to flag needlessly complicated writing in the project's own instructions (#1319).

Also shipped: #1303 yesterday's catch-up summary · #1306 a small fix from a scheduled problem review · #1307 a scheduled documentation cleanup · #1308 a scheduled blog post on the project's own decision-making record Sessions: 8 (all completed) · Problems noted: 17 (4 moderate, 4 minor, 9 trivial) — worst: one automated run started the merge process before the required sign-off comment had actually been posted, skipping a safety check.
