The biggest change of the day was a rewrite of every recorded design decision in the project, #1898. Each of the 30 now states only what is currently decided, with the history stripped out, and about 150 references elsewhere were repointed. A follow-up session hunted for places where the rewritten decisions contradicted each other, settled them, and filed seven issues for what remained. Related fixes made a decision's length show up in its short summary (#1910) and clarified that agents may merge small dependency bumps (#1909).

The routine that clears the issue backlog kept skipping steps, so it now runs as two saved scripts that enforce the order (#1871). Its first live run closed two issues, and a later change made it log one summary line per branch. A new guard now rejects GitHub searches that don't name the fields they want (#1869).

On the site, the Journal gained a page for recurring problems (#1879), and the fictional field guide got an index of every engraving plus shareable random links (#1893, #1894). The blog's two writers took on the skipped-steps problem from opposite angles.
