Most of the day went into making the automated documentation cleanup trustworthy. After a person asked why it had left most of its proposed trims unapplied, the cause turned out to be that no independent checker was ever run and the job capped itself at about ten findings. The job now rotates which kind of cleanup it focuses on each run and applies nothing without a checker's verdict (#1632). A trial run of the new rules then produced two rounds of fixes (#1643, #1644), though the checkers themselves made mistakes along the way, including one that approved a "fix" without ever calling the tool it was judging.
On the Atlas, simulated visitors drove two merged changes: the cover now links its wings and explains the Glass Year, the field log stacks properly on phones (#1641), and the front door shows the latest sightings across all wings (#1642). Separately, weekly grouped Dependabot updates were set up, with minor and patch npm bumps merging themselves once checks pass (#1633); the workflow that does the merging still needs a person to apply it.
Also shipped: #1634 setup-node bump · #1640 shorter provenance rule · #1638 and #1639 two blog posts · #1631 and #1630 doc fixes · #1629 skill inventory tune-up · #1625 yesterday's digest Sessions: 9 (all completed) · Problems noted: 30 (3 moderate, 10 minor, 17 trivial) — worst: a fix was confirmed from a tool's description rather than its real output, and the original doc had been right.
