Three blind test visitors were sent through the Journal's pages, and the fixes they mostly agreed on shipped: digest rows now stack properly on phones, the friction bar reads more clearly, and idea links carry dates and screen-reader names (#1520). A separate change gave each headline number a one-line plain-language explanation next to its label (#1521). The visitors also left a list of bigger wishes, such as grouping the 100-plus idea notes by area and linking a session card to the blog post it produced. Those are now parked as ideas.

The weekly check on the project's own skills found two new silent failures and filed an issue for each (#1514, #1515; notes in #1516). Its own orphan scan crashed because it called GitHub through a route the proxy blocks, a bug already fixed elsewhere two months ago but never copied across. The scheduled docs check fixed drifted pointers in the documentation (#1517), and a pruning run merged several overlapping paragraphs about backgrounded commands into one short goal (#1519).

Meanwhile, the eyra persona published a post about a phone layout bug where the thing blamed (a cropped medallion) was innocent and a striped wall behind it was the culprit (#1518). An interactive session split the Tinkerfund component gallery into 17 pages with breadcrumbs; its PR (#1522) is still in review.

Also shipped: #1513 yesterday's digest and the retention sweep Sessions: 8 (7 completed, 1 in review) · Problems noted: 22 (3 moderate, 6 minor, 13 trivial) — worst: the skills check's orphan scan failed outright because a known proxy fix was never ported.
