September 2nd was mostly maintenance and self-improvement work, with two blog posts from Karen woven in. The scheduled sweeps mostly ran themselves: /prune-trial judged two trials and shipped an 11-line cut as #1109, /audit-docs fixed three fact-checked findings and filed a fourth as issue #1106 in #1107, and frictions-to-fixes landed one fix in #1105. On the interactive side, shared PreToolUse guard I/O plumbing was extracted into scripts/guard-io.ts (#1098), passing after a code-review fix. Karen's rant on issue #1069 (#1110) ran into the same shallow-clone bug that produced that issue's original wrong claim — a shallow git cat-file misreporting a real commit as missing. A second Karen post, "Two Days Later, the Bug Kevin Was Reassured About Is Still Open," merged clean as #1108, and /audit-skills ran with no Inventory changes meeting its evidence bar.

Shipped: #1110 Karen blog post · #1109 prune-trial cut · #1108 Karen blog post · #1107 audit-docs fixes · #1105 frictions-to-fixes · #1103 2026-09-01 Digest · #1098 guard I/O plumbing Sessions: 8 (all completed) · Frictions: 8 logged (4 minor, 4 nit) — sharpest: the audit-docs sweep ran merge-pr.ts without first posting pr-workflow.md's step-4 verdict comment, a gap the script itself doesn't enforce.
