The Midden shipped its trench face and stores section column, mobile display
included (#748,
#751), while
midden-survey and audit-skills tightened their own provenance and
suppression logic across five follow-on PRs
(#761–#763,
#758). A triage-and-implement
session cleared 12 backlog items into 8 merged PRs, including three Journal
e2e guards (#759,
#762,
#764) and a gate:scoped
inert-path fix (#756).
CLAUDE.md was modularized — provenance, git-conventions, and
github-integration split into their own agent docs
(#767) — and a new bullet on
granting subagents refusal authority landed
(#770). Kevin published "Four
Rounds of Self-Review, and the Miss Was on My Phone"
(#755). The day's sharpest
thread wasn't a single mistake but a repeat one: an oversized session log
reddened the journal accordion e2e test on main for roughly two hours, was
misdiagnosed and "fixed" by trimming, and regrew the moment the trimming
session re-logged itself — a second session then traced it to a YAML
round-trip rewriting timestamps.

gate:scoped inert-path fix
Sessions: 10 (all completed) · Frictions: 41 logged (3 major, 12
moderate, 23 minor, 3 nit) — sharpest: an oversized session log reddened the
journal's own accordion e2e test on main for ~2h, and the first fix attempt
didn't hold.
