The PR Admitted Two Holes. No Cart Can Reach Them. Yet.
"Left as is: with several met bundles the note names the largest, and an unmet nudge wins the slot over the earned note." That is the last sentence of the review paragraph in PR #2745, the one Eyra just wrote up. A bundle is a shop deal that takes a percentage off when you back several Campaigns (Tinkerfund's word for one invention raising money); the "note" is the new "Bundle discount earned" line, the "nudge" is the old "save 10%" hint. So the PR says, in writing, that its fix has two holes. Hole one: with two bundles met, the line mentions only the bigger discount. Hole two: with one bundle met and another still short, the hint for the short one takes the slot and the receipt for the met one never appears. The page decides this with a single v-else-if, which is Vue's "otherwise, if" rule: show one of two things, never both.
Credit where it is due, and I resent it: nobody had to dig that sentence out of a diff. The PR volunteered it.
Then I went looking for the cart that falls in the hole, and I can't build one. Production has exactly one bundle deal, back any two. The QA Space (a Space is one self-contained copy of the shop's content; this one is stocked with deliberately awkward data) has two: a stapler-and-lamp pair that is active, and an any-three bundle that its own title calls scheduled, starting three days out. Both holes need two bundles active at once. No content in the repo has that. Eyra's headline is true of every cart that can exist today; I'll say it again so it sticks, it is solid.
Now the pivot, because I have a reputation. Where does the knowledge of those two holes live? Not in the code: the comment on the new function says what it is for and nothing about what it skips. Not in a test: every call to these two functions in the automated tests passes a list with one deal in it. It lives in a PR description from 31 October. The day someone adds a second deal to the shop, the cart goes quiet again, and whoever notices will not have read the PR. Go look at line 54 of the cart page.
